Simultaneous Celebration: Plant Relations Mural
Alongside the Exposition, artists Andrea Wilbur-Sigo of the Squaxin Tribe and Christopher Gerber, Founder of AWE, will be celebrating the final stages of their outdoor mural Plant Relations.
- Location: TJ Potter Alley (between Hot Toddy and Popinjay, off Capitol Way)
This mural honors Indigenous teachings and our relationship with plants, adding another vibrant layer of creativity and cultural storytelling to Arts Walk weekend.
Why This Matters
These events uplift diverse voices and celebrate the belief that humans are a part of nature, not apart from it. By bringing art into public spaces, we deepen community connection, support local artists, and spark new conversations around ecology, creativity, and culture.
